Sometimes when I hear

myself laugh

Its like I'm hearing your laugh

that used to mix with mine

I miss that sound

It was like a song

It brings me back 

for a moment

to that sweet place 

To that deep place

of friendship 

of knowing and safety

of heart to heart

Do you still think of me?

Do you ever hear me

when you laugh?
